Describe the key features of an effective process safety management system.
Describe the concept of process safety barriers and the role played by individuals at all levels in the organisation in maintaining such barriers.
Analyse a site COMAH report (also known as site safety case) and identify how their existing responsibilities relate to effective implementation of that safety case.
Analyse the robustness of the process safety barriers with which they are involved and/or responsible (e.g. operating procedures, inspection and maintenance programmes).
Accurately, clearly and appropriately communicate analysis in written, verbal and visual format in such a way as to demonstrate understanding to academic, specialist and non-specialist audiences.
Identify improvements to process safety and commit to this through a personal process safety action plan.
